A blog some of you may find amusing:
Way To Suck That Dick! (Absolutely NSFW)
Similar to Sorry I Missed Your Party (SFW), but instead of snarking on random party pics from Flickr, it's all amateur porn. I'm going out on a limb, and say this is one blog that's not getting a book deal.

Galbraith on the Econapocalypse
James Galbraith was on Media Matters with Bob McChesney this Sunday discussing the current economy and his latest book, The Predator State: How Conservatives Abandoned the Free Market and Why Liberals Should Too. It's worth a listen. You can stream and download the episode here.

Spelling Fail, Massive Damage Edition
I've recently picked up a Sharpie Mini with a key ring attachment on the cap. Now I should always have a marker handy to correct the spelling I see in bathrooms. Though witty comments are sometimes the best. Case in point:

The responder is a man after my own heart. I wish I could take credit for this one.

Broken Windows
If you didn't see it on Twitter, our cars got broken in to this week. Some time on Sunday night/Monday morning, some one(s) broke the passenger side window on my car and the driver's side window on Magnum's. Other than the broken windows, the only damage was a missing 20 oz bottle of Pepsi I had left in the car for my Monday morning commute.
Yesterday we got our windows replaced. We took our vehicles to Safety Auto Glass, on Southeastern just south of Washington. They have a sign suggesting that customers spread the word if they are satisfied, so that's what I'm doing.
This isn't the first time we've used their services. The service was quick, with no appointment necessary. The price was fair(I'm no expert). We called around and got a marginally cheaper quote($8 difference for both windows), but we've always paid exactly what Safety Auto Glass quoted over the phone. Plus they have that cool old school sign.

Eureka Has a Good Idea
I went to Best Buy the other day to physically check out some laptops before ordering one online. I'm a gadget and tech freak, so I had to wander around the store for an hour or so. Turns out digital cameras got cheap this year. DVDs did not. And the majority of U.S. carrier subsidized mobiles are still shit. But I did find the complete, directors edition of Aeon Flux(the cartoon, not the movie) on UMD for $7.99. I couldn't pass that up.

Since no one is ever back there, I strolled through the home and kitchen appliance section. I was hoping to find a cool iron, but they didn't have anything worth noting. Next to the irons on the back wall, I discovered the Eureka Uno, pictured at right. See that yellow wand on the side? It's a dusting wand. Once you are finished using it, replace it in it's caddy, pull the lever on the side, and the vacuum cleans it. Brilliant! I wish my vacuum cleaner had something like this. Unfortunately the Eureka Uno as a whole gets poor reviews on the Best Buy website.
From everything I've heard, Dyson still makes the best vacuums. And I still dream of getting one someday when I can afford to drop half a grand on one. But they don't have this feature. I'd really like to see them incorporate something like this on a machine. Or someone could make a stand alone dusting unit, I suppose. I'd be tempted to buy one.
