SCA: Ur Doin It Rong

Found this in my drafts folder. The original post date was in June. Not sure why I didn't post it then.

Just a heads up that Royksopp has all their videos available on Vimeo.

Get Your Modern Retro Gaming On

3D Dot Game Heroes. I seriously doubt I’ll have a PS3 by the time this comes out, but this game is going on my “get around to playing it someday” list. It’s like the original Zelda, in 3D, but keeping the original pixel size. Here’s the U.S. launch trailer:

The original trailer highlights the game’s graphics much better. Skip the first 30 seconds of introduction to get to the good stuff.

Scheduled for release in May 2010 for the PS3.

Panic Face King

I was telling the guys at the bar about this on Thursday. Part of a Japanese TV show, a man is led to believe he is in the midst of a sniper attack. Funny?

Terrifying Sniper Prank on Japanese TV

A Useful Thing

I think this is neat: the Tool Band-It. Maybe too late for for the holidays, but still. It’s a “As Seen On TV” product, so you might find this in your local CVS or wherever.

The TV Show

Last week I meant to blog DJO's Star Trek:TNG dub Happy in Paraguay but Jason beat me to it in Google Reader. I also thought I'd mention the U.S. release of Mucle March(the game from this post). Jason beat me to that one too.

So here's another cool video, maybe you haven't seen this one yet. It starts to take off at about a minute in.

You Know the One

From somewhere on the internet, a concise description of that Keanu Reeves movie:

Ted Theodore Logan is a mad scientist who has to surf the waves in order to rob the bank that will save the earth from aliens so he can stop the bus without blowing it up and preventing him from going back in time or some stupid keanu reeves shit.

I'm not afraid to admit that I love me some Keanu. Still this nails it.

Death Bed

Death Bed: The Bed That Eats

Made in 1977, not officially released until 2003. Supposedly a cult classic.

From the Wiki article's extensive plot description:
"The couple settle in and begin making love while the bed first helps itself to their picnic lunch of apples, fried chicken and a bottle of wine while they are occupied. Finally the bed draws its curtains on the oblivious couple and sounds of a struggle and then munching noise it heard."
I think I need to track this one down.

Donation Drive

Facing a shortage of organ donors, Israel will implement a policy to give priority for organs to registered donors, their partners and close relatives.

If that doesn’t work, there’s always David Mitchell’s idea:

HELLO

Is this thing on?
